On Saturday the 4th of May 2013 art becomes urban landscape and decorates house walls, streets and the square, giving light to every corner and creating a peculiar suggestion. The entire village becomes an open sky gallery of contemporary art, free visible every day of the year. A weekend of local markets, artistic laboratories, opening and visit of the permanent exhibition through the old town streets and of the “Don Michele Messa” picture gallery. On Saturday the 4th the event begins with the opening of the artistic “journey” at 3.00 p.m., the concert of the mezzo-soprano Agata Lombardo at the San Pietro in Vincoli church at 5.30 p.m. and from 6.30 p.m. the food and wine path and another musical concert.
Costigliole d’Asti, Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo and Montegrosso d’Asti are the protagonist of the “Barbera Castles” event, which takes place from the 26th of April to the 5th of May, involving these four Municipalities between Langa and Monferrato. Each village propose different programs, with many appointments that offer great food and wine, music, historical sceneries, exhibitions and entertainments of the territory. Rendezvous in Costigliole d’Asti at Rorà Castle on Saturday the 27th and on Sunday the 28th of April, in Montegrosso on Tuesday the 30th of April, in Coazzolo on Friday the 3rd of May and in Castagnole on Saturday the 4th and on Sunday the 5th of May. Of course, among many Barbera you’ll find Moscato d’Asti tastings, too.
Vinum, the great event dedicated to the introduction of the Langhe and Roero new vintages, is back in Alba from the 27th of April to the 1st of May. In addition to the traditional Enoteca di Langhe e Roero at the “Palazzo Mostre e Congressi” with more than 400 labels, there will be many Wine Tasting Experiences, led by experts in the field, for wine connoisseurs and lovers (on booking with tastings in two different moments during the day).
Domenica 28 April the country of Neive remembers Romano Levi with a program that introduces different appointments.
