Sunday, March 11 Monastero Bormida renews the rite-event of the "Sagra del Polentone", an event that has deep roots in the past and that collects, at every edition, a very large audience. A giant polenta is cooked as a tradition and served to the public accompanied by sausage and onion omelette. On this occasion the historic center becomes an open-air museum dedicated to the tools of the past and a craft and antiques market. The animation is entrusted to the flag-wavers and the historical parade. Info: tel. +39 0144.88012, www.comune.monasterobormida.at.it.
