Vinum, the great event dedicated to the introduction of the Langhe and Roero new vintages, is back in Alba from the 27th of April to the 1st of May. In addition to the traditional Enoteca di Langhe e Roero at the “Palazzo Mostre e Congressi” with more than 400 labels, there will be many Wine Tasting Experiences, led by experts in the field, for wine connoisseurs and lovers (on booking with tastings in two different moments during the day). Wine is above all culture of a territory and, thanks to the “Wine Storyteller”, wine, territory, people and senses involved in these tastings will be told to who wants to discover Langhe and Roero. The visitors will be also able to taste the specialty of the StreetFood, traditional food from different Italian region situated in many places in the city. On the 30th of April and the 1st of May there will be a new important event that links the cookery of south Italy (with the Consorzio Pasta di Gragnano) to the cookery of Langhe and Roero. It will be possible to taste the true pasta di Gragnano with sauces from both Naples and Langhe. In the new cooking school at the Rossi Castle there will be specific workshops on pasta, too. The white night of Enoteche, the “Mercato della terra”, street entertainments, the “Langa del Barolo” treasure hunt and the discovering of “underground Alba” will contribute to make alive the city.
