In Asti "Palazzi del Gusto – I Mille Profumi del Monferrato"

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November the historic buildings of Asti open their doors to the flavors and aromas of the White Truffle of Alba and wines presented by the Consortium Barbera d'Asti and wines of Monferrato and the Consortium dell'Asti DOCG.

An opportunity to deepen the knowledge of the excellence products of the Piedmontese autumn through show cooking, sensory analysis, wine tasting, training meetings and unmissable shopping opportunities at the truffle market exhibition. In addition, on Sunday there will be opportunities to purchase at the Regional Truffle Fair.

The event "I Mille Profumi del Monferrato" will be inaugurated on Saturday, November 17 at 11 am at Palazzo Mazzetti with the meeting "Truffle: management of a heritage" by the National Center for Truffle Studies and the Piedmont Reason, in collaboration with IPLA ( Institute of Wood and Environment Plants).

Palazzo Alfieri for two days from 10.00 to 19.00 will be the headquarters of the "Truffle Market", a unique space where to buy the Pico Tuber magnatum with the quality standards guaranteed by the Quality Commission, which is responsible for checking every single white truffle specimen Sunrise.

Also inside Palazzo Alfieri there will be the Foodies Moments (show cooking) where at 11.00 am and at 5.30 pm the White Truffle of Alba meets the signature cuisine. These moments will be guided by chefs from the Asti area, including Enrico Trova (Osteria del Diavolo) and Giuseppe Palermino (Ristorante La Braja). Palazzo Alfieri also hosts, on Sunday 18 at 16.00, the award ceremony for the "best dish" and the "best truffle" in collaboration with the Trifulao Astigiani and Monferrini Association.

For the occasion, Palazzo Alfieri will keep the photographic works of Mark Cooper, a great English photographer, who will present his project "Earthscapes - L'arte del Paesaggio".

The Hall of Mirrors of Palazzo Ottolenghi will be the destination of the gourmet for immersive experiences where you can discover the organoleptic characteristics of the Tuber magnatum Pico and the fine wines of Monferrato, Langhe and Roero.

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November at 11.00 am appointment with the Sensory Analysis of the Truffle guided by the Sensory Analysis judges. In addition, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 at 15.00 and 17.30 there will be the Wine Tasting organized in collaboration with the Consortium Barbera d'Asti and wines of Monferrato and with the Consorzio d'Asti DOCG. Reservations are also required for these appointments.

From 13 to 18 November the best restaurants of the Asti area will offer special dinners based on White Truffle of Alba accompanied by wines from the cellars belonging to the Barbera d'Asti Consortium and wines of Monferrato and the Consorzio d'Asti DOCG. They participate in the project Osteria del Diavolo, La floriana, L'antico Casale, Madamavigna, French, I Bologna, San Marco, Il Cascinalenuovo, La Braja, Il Podestà, Roico lago di Codana and Angolo del beato. The project is linked to the events and spaces that enrich the cultural landscape of Asti, including Chagall, "Color and Magic", an exhibition in progress at Palazzo Mazzetti.
