The "Wine Festival", which takes place in Alba on Sunday 24 September, takes place in the city's historic center, the most representative wineries in Langa and Roero. The initiative, promoted by Go Wine, has over time become an appointment much loved by the audience of enoic, Italian and foreign enthusiasts; a format that will also be able to follow the itinerary from Piazza del Duomo along the "Via Maestra" this year, transformed for a day into an ideal 'wine street'. The event involves the winery's realities of the Langa and Roero (over 25!), Maintaining its connotation of festive event, which recalls the joyful time and joy of harvest, with the presence of local promotion, cellar and wine factories wine shops and producers' associations. From 2 pm to 8 pm producers, organized through the participating Municipalities, will present tasting their productions and promote their territorial reality and their manifestations. Tasting tables will be arranged for homogeneous areas so that visitors can ideally travel through the various production areas. From the famous Barolo and Barbaresco, the flagship of the territory, to the other noble wines of the Langhe and the Roero: Nebbiolo d'Alba, Roero, Roero Arneis, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Diano and Dogliani, and many other wines still.
