Santo Stefano Belbo, the Yellow Night at the end of the harvest is back

In Santo Stefano Belbo, the night of Saturday 24 September is tinged with yellow: in fact, after the stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the “Yellow Night at the end of the harvest” returns. To welcome autumn, here is one of the festivals that is part of the historical memory of the villages of these hills, for a last remnant of the joyful summer desire to party, combined with the pride of offering participants the products of the production excellence of the territory.

As pointed out by the mayor of Santo Stefano Belbo, the end of the harvest is a moment of celebration present in everyone's memory and which still today, after hard work, is celebrated with smiles and auspicious toasts.

The events of the event will begin at 4.30 pm, in piazza Luigi Ciriotti, at the Cesare Pavese Foundation, with a moment dedicated to the little ones entitled "Playing together to grow together", organized by The hills of Giuca, with many wooden games available. some children.

At 5.00 pm, under the covered wing of Piazza Umberto I, the shades of the Yellow Night will turn green, with the conference "Culture, outdoor and wine: our sustainable future".

The toast promoted by the Consortium of Asti and Moscato d'Asti DOCG will therefore kick off the celebrations, which at 6.30 pm will offer all participants an aperitif, waiting for the opening of the gastronomic points, scheduled for 19.00.

There are 11 refreshment points where you can fill up on delicacies, each with different proposals: Caffè Fiorina (typical grilled Langhe dish), Bar Roma and Cocito pastry (Langhe burger and Moscato zabaglione with hazelnuts), Macelleria Fantoni (raw meat and vitello tonnato), Paradise bar pastry (chicken, eggs and courgettes in carpione, brick), La Belecauda di Fontanile (farinata), Il Vicolo pizzeria (risotto with Moscato and robiola), Mangia Mac (grilled meat), Bar Italia (ravioli al plin and cocktail by Gamondi), Bun da Mat (sorbet with Moscato d'Asti and hazelnut cake flavored ice cream), Bar La Caffettiera (gnocchi with sausage ragù), Pasticceria Dogliotti (arancini and Moscato and strawberry mousse).

To water the gastronomic proposals, "La Piazza del vino and ... surroundings" will offer various options, from wine, to gin, to beer. These are the companies with their proposals: Marco Capra farm, Gatti Piero farm, Canaparo Roberto farm - La Baudria, Cascina delle Rocche di Moncucco, Bocchino Vittorio - Tojo farm, Marcalberto and I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano Belbo, to whom they will go in addition to Ginnic, the Due Sorelle Brewery and the Sagrin Brewery.

As for the musical events, the dances will start at 7.00 pm with the folk music of Le Mondine, to continue at 9.00 pm with the dance evening in the historic ballroom in the company of the Beppe Carosso orchestra and at 10.00 pm, in Piazza Annibale Costa, with the FM Disco Explosion mobile disco by Radio Valle Belbo.

On the occasion of the Yellow Night at the end of the harvest, the Cesare Pavese Foundation will remain open to the public until 22.00. During the evening it will also be possible to walk among the stalls in the streets of the center, which will be walked by the mascot Grappolo.
