With my great pleasure and some emotion, I would like to introduce to all our friends who are passionate about our Moscato the newly released website for the Associazione Comuni del Moscato. It is a new communication tool that the board of directors and I strongly desired that we hope can improve the already established link between our association with the local communities and the Moscato d’Asti territory in all its’ different expressions.

In order to conceive it we chose simple, practical and essential lines. The result is a useful and clear website that up until now has not been available. This new site has plenty of wonderful pictures and the content of the various sections offers a constant information source. The historical and cultural content leads to a deeper understanding of the subject that acts as a shop window for Moscato. In this way we would like to provide a quick and easy reference point to the history of our Moscato which can be used alongside the currently available information in brochures and on the websites of the communities and other sources.

The website will be an updated reference point for the Association, communicating events and reports regarding the Moscato sector and will create a communal network to promote events and appointments with the Moscato wine and territory as its focal point. It will represent the Associations link with the producers, the territory, the institutions and anyone who loves Moscato and its places of origin. The network will be extended to the registered users who will have the possibility to receive periodical newsletters with images and the latest news about the world of Moscato.

Here I would like to thank all the members of the Association’s board of directors that have always supported this project, especially the vice president Luigi Genesio Icardi and the Mayor of Castiglione Tinella Bruno Penna who, thanks to their precious help, have led to the positive and rapid achievement of this website. I propose a toast of celebration with a glass of Moscato d’Asti d.o.c.g. or Asti Spumante d.o.c.g., to the success of our website and a happy and prosperous 2013.
